I am a junior Front-end developed based in Tampa, Florida. I
create simple yet visually appealing and user-friendly digital
experiences.
Growing up, I was always immersed in some type of art, whether I
was drawing, painting, playing musical instruments, or
photography. My interest in digital technology also grew,
manifesting in activities like playing design games, making
aesthetic school presentations, and editing photos and videos.
Previously, I worked as a behavioral therapist for children with
ASD. Transitioning from this position to a developer has been a
journey of growth and transformation for me. In that role, I honed
skills in communication, problem-solving, and empathy while
assisting individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds. Every
day presented unique challenges that required adaptability and
resourcefulness. Upon devling into the world of technology, I
recognized the parallels between my experiences in behavioral
therapy and the principles of coding. Both fields require
meticulous attention to detail, the ability to deconstruct complex
tasks, and a strong commitment to continous learning and
improvement. Drawing from my background in behavioral therapy, I
embraced coding with a similar mindset, viewing challenges as
opportunities for personal and professional development. Through
self-directed learning, online courses, and hands-on projects, I
established a strong foundation in programming languages, web
development frameworks, and software methodologies.
How did I get into software development?
My diverse experiences have taught me the profound significance of
personal interactions and experiences. I've chosen to pursue a
this career path where I can merge my passions and background in
psychology in a new purposeful way. With a focus on creating
thoughtful and intuitive experiences, I aim to empower users,
foster connections, and enhance the way they interact with
technology, ultimately enriching their daily lives.
The kitchen is my happy place. From experimenting with new recipes to mixing batters, baking and cooking is where I find peace and joy in making delicious foods and treats for loved ones. I also love to find new food spots to try.
I love to watch TV shows and movies in my downtime. Currently obsessed with Korean dramas. My favorites include Crash Landing On You, D.P., 20th Century Girl, and Physical 100. I also love to listen to music any chance I get, especially BTS 💜
When I get the chance to go out or travel, I always carry my film camera with me. I love the art of preserving memories and emotions in their most authentic form. You find my photos on my Instagram.
